What We’re Building in Compton

Opening in late summer, the Compton Wellness Center is a new, purpose-built site designed to expand access to behavioral health services for children, youth, and families.

This site reflects a continued investment in communities with significant unmet need—where access to culturally responsive, community-based behavioral health care remains limited. Behavioral health is central to this model, with a focus on early intervention, family-centered care, and coordinated services.

Care at the Compton Wellness Center will be delivered through an integrated, team-based approach that brings together psychiatry, psychology, clinical staff, nursing, and care coordination. The work is grounded in meeting individuals and families where they are, building trust over time, and supporting stability within the family unit.

As we prepare for opening, we are beginning to connect with clinicians and providers who are interested in contributing to this work and serving the Compton community.
