Healthcare Without Fear: Grocery Delivery Program

In just one week, over 1,500 of our patients canceled or rescheduled their medical visits—or switched to telehealth—due to fear sparked by recent ICE raids across Southern California.

These are families who rely on St. John’s Community Health not only for medical care, but for safety, dignity, and trust.

We’re responding with a new initiative: the St. John’s Grocery Delivery Program. This new initiative brings fresh food and hygiene products to patients during their home medical visit, supporting community members who are too afraid to leave their homes. This isn’t just about delivering food—it’s about preserving health, dignity, and hope.

Your support will make an immediate impact:

  • $50 helps supply a week’s worth of groceries for one family

We aim to make 3 deliveries per week and reach 1,500 families in the next 60 days.

Every donation, no matter the size, directly supports a household in crisis.

Together, we can push back against fear and care for our communities with compassion!
