Medi-Cal Re-Enrollment

Enrollment Freeze – January 1, 2026 Undocumented adults* who apply Jan. 1, 2026 or later can only get emergency or pregnancy coverage. People already enrolled in full scope can keep their coverage as long as they remain eligible and complete their renewal before their coverage is terminated.

If you’re currently undocumented but have full-scope Medi-Cal, you can keep it in 2026 as long as you complete your renewal. If you don’t renew, your coverage will end and switch to restricted.
