Los Angeles – In response to recent news that California joined other Western states in releasing their own vaccination guidelines – which are that all Californians 6 months and older who want protection from the COVID-19 virus get this season’s updated vaccine – St. John’s Community Health released the following statement:
“By issuing statewide COVID-19 vaccine guidelines, California officials removed obstacles that would have otherwise prevented tens of millions of people from getting the shot,” said Jim Mangia, president and CEO of St. John’s Community Health. “California’s vaccine guidelines will save lives – further, this move demonstrates the defiance and collaboration needed to counter federal overreach and misinformation.”
St. John’s Community Health has COVID-19 vaccines available for their patients. Now that insurance in California must cover the vaccine, St. John’s Community Health encourages everyone to schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointments with their doctor or pharmacy of choice.
