🏥 Having Surgery Soon?

Before your surgery, your primary care doctor needs to clear you this is called Pre-Op Clearance. It’s a medical check to make sure your body is ready for surgery and to keep you safe.

✅ Here’s What You Need to Do:

1. Schedule Your Pre-Op Appointment Early
Don’t wait! Call us at (323) 541-1411 to book your appointment at least 3–4 weeks before your scheduled surgery date.

2. Bring These Items to Your Appointment:
📄 Surgery Date & Location
📑 Surgeon’s Name and Contact
📋 Any handouts/instructions from your surgeon or specialist

3. Be Ready for the Following at Your Visit:
🩺 Physical exam
💉 Blood work or lab tests (if needed)
❤️ EKG or chest X-ray (if requested by surgeon or based on your health)
📈 Review of your medical history and current medications

4. Follow Any Special Instructions
Your provider may give you directions about your medications, food/drink restrictions, or further testing.

5. Stay in Touch
We will send your clearance directly to your surgeon. Make sure your surgery date hasn’t changed. If it has, let us know ASAP.
